Agoraphobia? Agorafobie is a common misspelling of agoraphobia.
Agoraphobia is a condition that usually occurs with panic disorder. It involves intense fear and avoidance of any place or situation where escape might be difficult in the event of developing sudden, panic-like symptoms. People with agoraphobia may avoid normal, everyday activities, such as driving or grocery shopping. This type of phobia is best treated with a specific form of short-term psychotherapy called cognitive-behavioral therapy.
