Anafranil for Use in Children

Anafranil is approved for OCD treatment in teens and children as young as 10 years old. Talk with your healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of using Anafranil in children with OCD.

Off-Label Anafranil Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Anafranil for something other than the conditions listed above. This is called an "off-label" use. At this time, there are several off-label Anafranil uses, including treating the following conditions:

Autism
Chronic pain
Depression
Panic disorder
Premature ejaculation (see Clomipramine and Premature Ejaculation).
