Drug Interactions With Clomipramine

If thyroid medications, alcohol, or certain antidepressants are taken together with clomipramine, interactions may occur. When a drug interaction with clomipramine occurs, the levels of clomipramine and other medications in your blood can increase, potentially increasing your risk of side effects. Some of these drug interactions can also increase your risk of a dangerous arrhythmia called QT prolongation. Therefore, be sure to talk to your healthcare provider about possible clomipramine drug interactions that may apply to you.
