Clonazepam Uses in Children

Clonazepam is approved to treat seizures in children of all ages. It is not approved to treat panic disorder in children. Talk to your healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of using clonazepam in children.

Off-Label Clonazepam Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend clonazepam for something other than the conditions listed in this article. Currently, off-label clonazepam uses include treating the following conditions:

Alcohol withdrawal
Insomnia
Other types of anxiety (other than panic disorder)
Restless legs syndrome (RLS).
