Precautions and Warnings With Fluvoxamine

Among the precautions and warnings with fluvoxamine to be aware of are an increased risk of suicidal thoughts or behavior in some people who take fluvoxamine and the safety of taking the drug while nursing or pregnant. In order to reduce the chances of drug interactions with fluvoxamine, you should let your healthcare provider know (prior to taking fluvoxamine) about all of the drugs you currently take. A few of the conditions you should let your healthcare provider know about before starting treatment with fluvoxamine include bipolar disorder, liver disease, and any allergies you may have.
