What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Limbitrol?

If you do not take your Limbitrol as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
 

Strengths

Limbitrol tablets are available in the following strengths:
 
  • Limbitrol 5 mg/12.5 mg -- containing 5 mg of chlordiazepoxide and 12.5 mg of amitriptyline
  • Limbitrol DS 10 mg/25 mg -- containing 10 mg of chlordiazepoxide and 25 mg of amitriptyline.
     
The "DS" in Limbitrol DS tablets stands for "double strength."
 

Is There a Generic Version of Limbitrol?

Currently, both brand-name and generic versions of Limbitrol are licensed for sale (see Generic Limbitrol).
