Limbitrol Side Effects: An Introduction
As with any medicine, side effects are possible with
Limbitrol® (
chlordiazepoxide and amitriptyline); however, not everyone who takes the medication will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider.

Limbitrol is an older medication, approved many years ago.
With newer medications, side effects are carefully documented and the exact percentage of people who develop each side effect is known. With older medications (like Limbitrol), side effect information is less specific and exact percentages are not reported.
