Who Should Not Take Luvox CR?

You should not take Luvox CR if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Luvox CR, fluvoxamine, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Are taking certain medications, including:
 
 
  • Have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) within the past two weeks. Also, you should not take an MAOI if you have taken Luvox CR within the past five weeks. MAOIs include:
