Paxil Drug InteractionsIn the case of Paxil, drug interactions may occur when the medication is taken with medicines such as lithium, warfarin, or aspirin. Some Paxil drug interactions can lead to problems such as stomach bleeding, increased drowsiness, or a very dangerous combination of symptoms called serotonin syndrome. Other drug interactions involving Paxil may cause a dangerous irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia) called QT prolongation.
