Problems With Paxil

As with many other medications,
 Paxil® (paroxetine hydrochloride) can cause problems. Some of the most common problems with Paxil include:
 
Side effects that do occur tend to be minor. However, there are some potentially serious problems that require immediate medical attention. Contact your healthcare provider if you experience Paxil problems such as hallucinations, suicidal thoughts, or a fast heart rate.
 
Other Paxil warnings and precautions apply to women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, as well as people who have certain allergies (including allergies to foods, dyes, or preservatives). Also, you may not be able to take Paxil if you have certain medical conditions, such as diabetes, epilepsy, or bipolar disorder.
