What Happened to Brand-Name Serax?

Serax was made by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
In 2001, Wyeth decided to stop making Serax. This is a common fate of older medications. Once generic versions of a medication are available, it may not be profitable for a company to keep making the brand-name product. This is most likely what happened to brand-name Serax.
