Serax Uses in Children

Serax is not recommended for use in children less than six years old, as it has not been adequately studied in this age group. Additionally, the manufacturer does not provide dosing information for children 12 years old and younger. Talk with your healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of using Serax in children.
 

Off-Label Serax Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Serax for something other than the conditions listed in this article. Currently, using Serax to treat insomnia is among these potential off-label Serax uses.
