Valium 5 mg Tablets

Of the three strengths of
 Valium® (diazepam) tablets on the market, Valium 5 mg tablets are in the middle of the range. A healthcare provider may prescribe Valium to treat several conditions, such as anxiety, muscle spasms, and seizures.
 
When the medication is used for treating anxiety, the recommended dosage is 2 mg to 10 mg, taken two to four times daily, depending on the severity of your symptoms. For muscle spasms, the recommended dose is 2 mg to 10 mg, taken three or four times daily. The recommended Valium dose for controlling seizures is 2 mg to 10 mg, taken two to four times daily. Valium is intended to be used along with other seizure medications.
